The Class Center is the Swordsmanship Museum and Academy's home location for teaching the art of historical swordsmanship, as well as many other historical martial skills like historical archery and historical military drill! Though we have classes and clubs scheduled for almost every weeknight, we have open hours to the public every Saturday from 12-4pm, with a schedule below! (Starting November 22nd, 2025).

Come to the class center to enjoy the vibes of swordsmanship! The sparring rings are open to anyone with HEMA experience, and the "Cafe Tables" are open to anyone who wants to chat, research, use our library, craft, or just vibe! No Charge!
Historical Archery

Saturdays 2pm-4pm
Do you want a cool place to practice your archery skills? Every Saturday from 2-4pm, the indoor archery range is open. $10 for all you can shoot and $5 if you want/need to borrow our equipment.
PARKING AND FINDING THE ENTRANCE!
Please note that the entrance to the SM&A Class Center is located *in the back* of the plaza building located at 3518 Plainfield Ave. There are parking spaces behind the plaza, or additional parking spots at the North end of the building.
